Arrival/Check in at Sheraton Suites Hotel
Optional Special activities - 1-5 PM:
1:00 pm - Linda Waterhouse tour of the Missouri Valley Collection closed stack of the K.C. Public Library: “Record the History of our Class.” Our class has surplus funds from previous reunions. The library is assembling documents about each class for historical purposes. We are considering contributing those surplus funds to the library to help offset expenses and set a model for other classes. Meet at K.C. Public Library, 14 West 10th Street (10th & Baltimore). Questions: linwat@aol.com
1:00 pm - Hal Klee tour of the Good Ship Arabia: Around 1856 a "floating Walmart" paddlewheel riverboat sunk in the Missouri River. Thousands of items were not to be recovered until about 150 years later, buried about 60 feet under a corn field. Now a beautiful museum for you to travel back in time. Learn more: www.1856.com. Hal Klee will be your travel guide. Meet in Sheraton lobby for 1 pm departure using carpools.

Hail to thee, our Alma Mater
Thou art strong and true,
Honor to thy name so hallowed
Pledge we now to you.
Southwest! Southwest!
Ever onward
Shall thy colors fly
Orange and Black to all are sacred
Radiant in the sky.
Every son and every daughter
Bears thy hallowed name,
Far above all others always
Thou shall bring us fame.
Southwest! Southwest!
We are faithful
Proud in victory's song,
May thy banner always lead us
On and ever on.
